Art Sale in Fredericton! Our annual sale of all the Haitian art that Colleen purchased on the most recent trip (as well as some beautiful pieces she has been saving for the sale), is happening this Sunday, December 7th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Building on the UNB Campus, Fredericton. It’s always a festive afternoon, with a wide variety of art pieces on display. Please come and bring your friends. Cash or cheque only.

The annual Holiday Art Sale hosted by Team Canada HealingHands will be held December 7 from 1 to 4 PM. Once again the event will be held at UNB's Alumni Memorial Building. Please stop by and pick up a gift for you or someone else that will truly help in making holiday wishes come true.

A charity dinner �Hope for Haitians� will be held at the Fox Creek Golf Club in Dieppe on Tuesday December 9th 2008 starting at 6pm. All proceeds from this event will benefit the urgent need for medical care and education for Haitian children and adults with amputations, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, stroke, leprosy, malnutrition and polio through the volunteer work of Team Canada Healing Hands. .

Fundraising has begun for the next mission scheduled for 21 to 29 November 2008!
Here are a couple of events coming up:

Fredericton - Friday 31 October 2008 - Danielle, Kyle, and Mike, and John are hosting a Halloween Party at the Cellar Pub, University of New Brunswick, Student Union Building. Take this opportunity to dress up, act silly, and make a donation to our team.

Halifax - Sunday 19 October 2008 - Ruth is welcoming everyone to drop in to her home at 3470 Isleville Street, between 1 and 4 pm to enjoy light refreshments, Haitian music, and meeting new people. There will be Haitian arts and crafts, and some of Ruth's own paintings (framed and unframed), on display and for sale. Any other donations will be graciously accepted.
